Lincoln Moms and Kids Too!

ACTIVE CLUBS & SOCIAL ACTIVITIES

Park Play

This activity is planned for the first Thursday morning of every month.  We meet at a local park where children and Moms can play and socialize.  All members are invited to participate as this activity is for children of all ages.

All-Club Events

These activities are open to all club members and their children of all ages.  All Club Events are held randomly throughout the month.  The activities vary depending on the season of the year, the weather, etc.  The following are some examples of the activities:  story time, craft activities, meeting at a local zoo, museum or water park, and much more.  The purpose of this activity is to expose children (and Moms) to different activities, to socialize, and to meet other members in the club.  Costs associated with these activities vary and are the responsibility of the member family choosing to participate.

Seasonal Events

There are four major family activities planned each year.  They are the Spring Easter Egg Hunt, Summer Picnic, Fall Halloween Costume Party, and the Winter Holiday Party.  The location of these activities vary depending on the activity chosen and the availability of accommodations (i.e., a member’s home, a local park, or a private facility).  The cost associated with these activities vary and are the responsibility of the member family choosing to participate.

Mom's Night Out (MNO)

This activity is planned for once each month.  This activity is for Moms only.  The purpose of this activity is for Moms to socialize with other Moms and is a chance for Moms to spend quality time with fellow club members/friends.  The activity varies each month (i.e., movie and ice cream, dinner, miniature golfing, craft activities, etc.).  The cost associated with this activity varies, and is the responsibility of the member choosing to participate.

LMAKT Women's Bowling League

Moms of Lincoln Moms and Kids Too! participate in a women's bowling league on a designated evening each month.

Sunshine

This “extra” offered by the club is a way to reach out and support our fellow members when challenging life events occur.  Members volunteer to provide a meal to another member family when a birth, major illness, death or other incapacitating circumstance arises in the family.  The club encourages all members to participate.
