2007-2008 Fundraisers
This year the club chose to coordinate a fundraiser by creating a cookbook full of wonderful recipes!! Several members submitted recipes from appetizers to crockpot recipes to desserts of course!! Over 300+ cookbooks were sold, and we are still selling them!!
The club voted to sponsor Books in the Courtyard through Friends of the Library, and the club raised $2290 for the charity this year!!! Wow!!! Way to go Lincoln Moms and Kids Too!!!

2006-2007 Fundraisers
- September - The Executive Board started a wonderful partnership with the Phoenix High School Head Start program. We are working with the young moms and their children. This relationship will continue throughout the 2006-07 fiscal year! The club has donated infant necessities, diapers, baby clothes, car seats, scrapbooking supplies (to make baby books), etc.
- October - The Munchkins playgroup sponsored a Halloween Parade, where the kids dressed up in various costumes, at Lincoln Manor and handed out homemade cards to the residents.
- November - The Little Rascals playgroup sponsored a coat drive for The Lighthouse Counseling and Family Resource Center. 26 children's coats were donated, serving children ages 6 months- to 12 years-old. Also, the club participated in an effort, with Pat Porter and many residents of Lincoln Hills, to make over 100 holiday cards for soldiers serving our country abroad.
- December - The Doodle Bugs playgroup sponsored a holiday card and ornament making project. The holiday cards and ornaments were personally given to the residents of Villa Del Rey in Lincoln.
- January - The Teeter Totters playgroup sponsored a school supply drive for First Street School. The staff, parents and children at the school were extremely appreciative!
- February - The Mousekateers sponsored a food drive for The Salt Mine Food Closet. As a club, our donations covered three 8-foot tables! The Salt Mine volunteers sincerely thanked everyone who donated food items and came to deliver and sort.
- March - The Tuesday Toddlers playgroup sponsored a baby supply drive for the Sacramento Children's Crisis Nursery. The volunteers at the Nursery were overwhelmed by our club's generosity!
- April - The Teeter Totters playgroup sponsored a book drive for local programs in Placer County. Many books were collected for kids of all ages!
- May - Team LMAKT participated in the 2007 Lincoln Relay for Life. We had 30 members on our team and raised over $8,300.00 for the American Cancer Society!!! We walked in honor of our hero Kyler Haskins and other loved ones who are current cancer patients, survivors or who have passed. The club supported its team by holding mini fundraisers such as "Babysitting for Bucks" and "Quarters for Cures". We also were supported by several local businesses. Congratulations Team LMAKT!!!
- June - The Big Kids playgroup sponsored our June Service Project - Park Clean Up at McBean Park! Several Moms, kids and Dads came out that day to help clean up the park. The park looked much better after LMAKT left that day! Thank you to all the volunteers and the Big Kids playgroup for organizing it!
- July - Members of Lincoln Moms and Kids Too! came together to host our 2nd Annual Fundraiser on the 4th of July at McBean Park. Several members hung out at the Kid's Zone and sold water, juice and crafts to help raise money for Sierra Adoption. We received several donations for water, juice and ice to help with the fundraiser!! Thank you LMAKT Families!! Together, the club raised $636.50. Congratulations!!
